Please read these instructions carefully before starting the migration!
If the Unifi module has already been booked and installed, please be sure to update the module to the latest version first (the corresponding database will also be recreated).
The Unifi module support is therefore only supported again from version 24.1.8.
To ensure a smooth migration, carry out the following points:
Create and save a backup in the Unifi interface of the controller.
Log in to the FW as “root”.
Stop the service with: “service unifi stop”.
Create a backup of the data folder: “ /usr/local/share/java/unifi/data”.
The migration and update process can now be started.
As soon as the AIMdefense version 24.1.8 has been reached, the Unifi module can be can be installed again: “pkg install os-s2funifi”
Now restore the created backup from the data folder.
Please note!
In the FW config path: “ / conf / config.xml”, the unifi section ” is_default must be set to “0”! (if this value does not correspond to “0”, it must be set to “0″).
From the inserted data folder from the backup in “system.properties” “is_default must be set to false”! (if this value does not correspond to “false”, it must be set to “false”).
Start the unifi service.
Open the Unifi Controller and, if necessary, import the saved backup.
Please do not close the AIMdefense interface during the process. If the Unifi service is stopped, simply restart it.
Wait until the usual login interface appears after the backup.
